Meet The Team - Vasse/Busselton

Allan

There wouldn’t be too many people who could lay claim to building an entire community. But in his role as Estate Manager of Vasse Newtown from its instigation, that’s just what Alan Smith did.

Alan moved to the region 3½ years ago to take up the challenging position. He previously ran his own real estate business in Perth and, when the opportunity arose, the time just seemed right!

He relocated with his wife and teenage son, while his daughters were completing university and living in Ireland respectively. It didn’t take long before Alan was hooked on the lifestyle!

He joined Stocker Preston in 2007 because he liked concept of a multi office and its capacity to work across multiple regions.

And, as there is not much Alan doesn’t know about the Vasse area, his skills and market knowledge are invaluable to the Vasse office and area.

From working on the land to selling it, Ross joined Dunsborough’s award winning sales team after 12 years of successfully operating earthmoving and farm enterprises with his father. He decided to make the career change to real estate when the opportunity to live and work in the region became available.

Ross is now located at the company’s Vasse Office and he welcomes the opportunity to assist Sellers and Buyers with their real estate transactions in this rapidly growing region.

Ross has uncompromising enthusiasm and a sound work ethic, which immediately saw him producing results for both clients and himself.

In his spare time, he is a keen fisherman, a passionate footballer and enjoys indoor soccer.

Rod
Rod Duggan - DIRECTOR/LICENSEE
mob: 0418 931 686 | Email this agent
Rod Duggan is a third generation Cowaramup-based resident and has a lifetime background in farming, business and real estate. As Director of Stocker Preston and co-owner of one of the region’s most successful agricultural supplier, Cowaramup Agencies, his extensive knowledge of viticulture and agricultural land allows him to be well versed on intricate rural issues. It has also provided a unique platform for his work in property development. In fact, Rod has been heavily involved in many property development projects in the region, including the sub-division of rural land for housing estates and smallholdings. Rod is well known in the region and respected in the industry. He was instrumental in the Stocker Preston merge that brought together three of the region’s most successful agencies.
Mike
Mike McLean - Property Consultant
mob: 0427 549 009 | Email this agent
Mike does not shy away from a challenge. This third generation Cowaramup farmer worked the family dairy farm to expansion, before moving on 14 years ago to head north and turn his hand to mixed farming.

There is not much Mike doesn’t know about the rural industry. In addition to farming wheat, sheep, dairy and beef, he and his wife, Naomi, also started a successful transport company and dabbled in a tyre supply and fitting business.

They returned to the region and their families after almost a decade and a half working side by side in farming to embark on a new challenge - both joining the team at Stocker Preston to pursue their passion in property.

And while Mike will miss the open spaces and broad acres of running the land, he does enjoy reconnecting with all the people he used to know in farming and providing a service from one farmer to another.

Naomi
Naomi McLean - Property Consultant
mob: 0427 549 009 | Email this agent
Naomi McLean (nee Fancote) grew up in Busselton and later helped operate the family dairy farm in Cowaramup with her husband, Mike and in-laws, John and Mary. The formidable husband and wife team joined Stocker Preston after spending 14 years away from the region turning their hand to mixed farming and running a successful transport company. Naomi always had an interest in property and development and spends her spare time visiting development sites and viewing home opens. She is delighted to be back in the region, where she is close to the coast and her family again.

She brings her strong work ethic, knowledge of business and a general passion for property to Stocker Preston and, although working the residential sector, she provides support to her husband in rural sales.

She most enjoys spending time with her family who are still in the area and two children when they are home from boarding school.
